| Spontaneous Nonsense & Fun Spontaneous nonsense and a whole lot of foolishness is part of the bands persona. To the delight of the audience, no one knows what's going to happen next, including the band members themselves. The music of the early 1900's. 20's, and riverboat era are brought to life as only the driving rhythm of banjos can do. The SAN GABRIEL VALLEY OLE TYME BANJO BAND has as much fun playing the songs of yesteryear as the audiences has in hearing them. Songs such as "Toot Toot Tootsie", "Swanee" , "Baby Face", and that wonderful riverboat song "Waiting For The Robert E. Lee" take on a new perspective as played by the band. The upbeat style leaves one with a smile long after the music has stopped. Fun is the key word. The band has fun as well as the audience. |
